Our extensive experience with older buildings has enabled us the ability to design period additions complete with the appropriate detailing. We work closely with design professionals in all disciplines.

We often act as general contractors offering the client a contract price for a defined scope of work. Ours crews do much of the work and we sub-contract some aspects to trades who understand our approach.

Our carpenters are highly skilled and understand all facets of old house construction. They are able to repair and restore many historic elements.

The masonry division is busiest from May through December. The majority of its work is in the re-pointing of stone homes. It also builds chimneys and fireplaces, lays brick and does repair work to brick buildings.

We manufacture various architectural items including doors and windows, mantlepieces, soffit and fascia, and cabinets and trim. We also have a great deal of experience with the making and installation of various landscape features such as fences, gates, trellises and arbors.
